High Resolution Audio Cables
We believe the Au24 cables attain the elusive goal of combining exquisite sonic detail with the beauty of true musicality. This is due in large part to the Au24’s incredible time domain performance. One look will tell you these are not "me too" products.
The materials, design and construction techniques utilized in the Au24 cable line reflect the latest thinking in state of the art, high-resolution technology.
Contributing to the excellent time domain characteristics of the Au24 cables are high quality materials and proper configuration. Most audiophiles are aware of the importance of good insulating and conducting materials. The Au24 cables are constructed of OHNO continuous cast single crystal copper conductors with polypropylene insulation and cross-linked polyethylene jacket material. Relatively few people are aware of the role geometric configuration plays. If a given cable is not optimally configured to perform the task it was designed to do it will never sound as good as a cable with the correct physical/electrical characteristics regardless of which exotic materials are used in its construction.
All Audience cables and especially the Au24 series are designed for low eddy-current resistance. This is the key electrical characteristic for good time response.
Audience exclusive Au24 RCA connectors are used on all cables requiring RCA termination. These simple, high quality connectors are far less colored than bulkier, fancier connectors. They are an advanced, minimalist design and have excellent grip and low contact resistance .
Audience balanced analog and AES/EBU digital interconnects are terminated with Neutrik XLR plugs.
Audience loudspeaker cables are terminated with rhodium plated spade connectors.
Audience will provide custom lengths and termination.
The Au24 cables will begin to sound good after 2 to 3 hours playing time and will continue to improve for approximately 50 hours.
Maestro
High Resolution Audio Cables
The Maestro cables are placed in the middle of the Audience cable lineup between the technically advanced Au24 cables and the high performance /price ratio Conductor cables. Like all cables by Audience the Maestro are designed for low eddy-current resistance. We have found low eddy-current resistance to be the most important quality in high-resolution audio and video cables. The Maestro cables are of rugged construction, suitable for professional/broadcast environments. To achieve greater sonic purity the physical design leans towards simplicity. Subjectively, a natural musical timbre is realized. There is a strong similarity to the Au24 cables but perhaps without the ultimate degree of resolution achieved by the Au24. Still, the similarities far outweigh the differences.
Maestro cables are an excellent choice when high resolution combined with rugged construction and moderate price are called for.
Conductor
High Resolution Cables
Conductor cables are a high performance to price ratio, entry level cable by Audience. Like all cables by Audience the Conductor line is designed for low eddy-current resistance. We have found low eddy-current resistance to be the most important quality in high-resolution audio and video cables. The Conductor cables are very flexible making them easy to install in tight spaces. To achieve greater sonic purity the physical design leans towards simplicity. Our ultra-simple Au24 RCA connectors maintain this simplicity. Subjectively, a natural musical timbre is realized. Tonally, there is a family resemblance with the Au24 and Maestro interconnects with only slightly less resolution.
The Conductor High Resolution cables are an excellent choice when high resolution, tonally pleasing sound reproduction is desired while staying within budget.

The other culprit afflicting most power conditioning products is the ubiquitous MOV. (Metal Oxide Varistor) The MOV is a sacrificial device. This means it wears down over time until it fails completely. Its purpose is to clamp high voltage transients safely to ground instead of through your equipment. This would be fine if it didn’t cause audible distortion and fail after a few uses. For surge protection the Adept Response employs a non-wearing type high voltage transient suppression. 
Adept Response uses only the finest conducting, filtering and transient suppression components. Even the power switch is exceptional, a very high quality magnetic circuit breaker. The advantage over thermal circuit breakers is that thermal breakers increase in resistance as power demand increases. This causes heat dependent, resistive modulation of the incoming voltage which effectively reduces the power available to your equipment just when you need it most. The design employed in the Adept Response provides for the most natural flow of music.
The state of the art inductive components used in the Adept Response power conditioner add no significant series resistance. This maintains a low impedance power path to your playback system. Also, the Adept Response performs power factor correction. This helps restore natural dynamics by bringing the AC voltage and current into a better phase relationship allowing a more efficient transfer of power. With the Adept Response as your power conditioner all aspects of the audio/video performance are greatly improved. Your playback system will no longer be starved of clean high quality power. Each of the 12 outlets is individually filtered and double filtered from every other outlet providing maximum component to component isolation. An entire audio or video system can easily be powered by the same conditioner, including everything from digital components and phonograph preamplifiers to power amplifiers. This extensive noise filtering creates a lower noise floor and improves low level resolution, providing superior sound stage presentation.
